This site offers resources for (game) audio design, from a designer’s perspective. Updated when updating is necessary and featuring whatever comes around in the attention of the author.

The site is maintained by Sander Huiberts. He is a researcher in the fields of adaptive music systems, game audio and accessibility. He is completing his doctorates at the University of Portsmouth (England), researching game audio and immersion. He has an M.A. in Music Technology, and gives lectures on game audio design at the Utrecht School of Music and the Utrecht School of Art and Technology (the Netherlands).

Sander researched the accessibility of games for gamers with disabilities at the Bartiméus Accessibility Foundation (Netherlands) and is active in the field of accessibility since 2001, developing and researching blind-accessible games. He is co-founder of AudioGames.net, a community website for gamers and researchers that focuses on audio games (games that consist of sound only).

Additionally, he is a composer, sound designer and funky bass player.
